Hi Bakers! We are moving right along and getting straight into Valentine’s Day prep. Sporting a variety of designs, these cookies are equally fun to decorate as they are to give (and eat, of course). From simple hearts to intricate zig-zags to mini rosettes, you are going to have so much fun mixing and matching the decorating techniques in this lesson.

At first glance, decorative sugar cookies might seem intimidating. With so many colors and patterns, it can be overwhelming if you don’t know where to start. Here’s the secret - you only have to master two icing consistencies in order to make endless designs, and I’m so excited to show you how! Using my favorite sugar cookie recipe, we will progress from flooding, to wet-on-wet designs, to piping on details to make these super cute and tasty cookies.
