Welcome to our first Pizza Friday newsletter. I’ll be sharing my go-to pizza dough recipe that I use almost weekly. But first, a little backstory…
Once upon a time, I had a hard-core pizza craving. It was a Friday night and likely raining (as it usually is here in Vancouver). I really try to cook dinner at home almost nightly (more on that below), but succumbed to my sweatpants and cheesy desires. After seeing how much it would cost and how long it would take to deliver pizza for a family of 5, I don’t think I’ve ever closed my phone so fast.
We love pizza at this house too much to not learn how to make it ourselves. Never short on a variety of toppings or ways to serve it, we introduced Pizza Friday about 6 months ago. With almost everything from scratch and at least one vegetable and/or salad, this tradition is something the whole family looks forward to each week.
